The Direction Plus Fuel Manager Pre-Filter Kit protects late model common rail diesel engines against costly injector failure. Direction Plus states that 72% of all diesel fuel injection system failures are caused by water and fuel lubricity problems.
The pre-filter installs between the fuel tank and the factory fuel filter, removing the majority of water and particle contamination before fuel reaches the factory filter. That leaves the factory filter to handle the final, finer filtration, so your fuel system is protected around the clock. Vehicle specific kits cover Toyota, Mazda, Isuzu, Nissan, Volkswagen, Ford, Mitsubishi and Holden models.
