Maxliner Tub Load Bracket (J-Brace)

The Maxliner Tub Load Bracket, or J-Brace, reinforces the tub wall on the Next Gen Ford Ranger and Volkswagen Amarok. It is recommended if you plan to run a canopy, hard lid, roof rack, tub rack or roller shutter.

Roof loads and heavy accessories put extra stress on the tub wall, and the J-Brace kit adds reinforcement to help manage it. Maxliner advises the kit is required for most 2022 to 2024 Ford Ranger and Volkswagen Amarok models. From 2025 onwards, some vehicles come with a J-Brace fitted from the factory, so check your build before ordering.
