The factory steps make a good step but a poor slider, so these give real protection and higher clearance while still working as a step.

Three heavy duty steel brackets mount individually to the chassis and carry a 6061 T6 aluminium extrusion backbone, similar in weight to steel but stronger. A steel tread step fits to the backbone, with an extruded tread that grips better than diamond plate. The sliders are angled up 30 degrees and are side curtain airbag compatible. Kit weight is 75kg, install takes about 3 hours and difficulty is 4/10. Do not use these sliders to jack up the vehicle.

Does not suit Ram Bighorn 6'4" tub.
