Offroad Animal - Scout Roof Rack to suit Volkswagen Amarok 2022 to current

The Scout roof rack is a low profile aluminium rack built specifically for the dual cab Volkswagen Amarok from 2022 on. It is designed to run quietly and sit neatly on the roof line.

The rack measures 1210mm wide and 1230mm long tip to tip. It is rated to 95kg driving and 190kg stationary. The off-road rating is 63kg, which leaves 48kg of cargo after the 15kg rack. Five T-slot aluminium rails accept standard M8 nuts and bolts. Fitting takes about 5 hours and rates 5/10 for difficulty, as the headliner needs to be dropped.
