Product Details
The REDARC BCDC Alpha50 R is a 12V, 50A DC battery manager that keeps both your start and secondary batteries charged from the alternator or solar. It is not suitable for engine bay installation.
It ships with a Smart Battery Monitor, so the charger knows how much current is heading to the battery versus the loads, and uses unused charge current to run loads directly. Green Power Priority™ favours solar to reduce alternator load and save fuel. Start battery input range is 9 to 32V DC and solar input is 9 to 48V DC. A flat start battery can be recovered in as little as 15 minutes at the push of a button or from the RedVision app, and adjustable input current limits suit hybrids and EVs.
