Product Details
The REDARC BCDC1206 is a compact three-stage 12V, 6A DC to DC charger. It delivers enough current to charge a battery with a typical DC compressor fridge connected, which makes it a simple option for trailer-mounted batteries.
Its input can be above, below or equal to the output voltage, so it handles the voltage drop that comes with long cable runs between the main and auxiliary battery. It charges AGM, Gel, Standard Lead Acid and Calcium batteries with a max charging voltage of 14.5V, and standby draw is under 150uA. Protection covers over current, short circuit, over temperature, and input under and over voltage, with LED indication of output mode. It is not suitable for lithium (LiFePO4) batteries or engine bay installation, and is approved for use in Australia and New Zealand only.
