Product Details
The REDARC BCDC1220 is a 12V multi-stage DC to DC charger built for under bonnet installation, keeping your auxiliary battery charged while you drive. Charging profiles match your battery type.
It runs from a wide 9 to 32V input, so it can charge from both 12V and 24V vehicle systems. Rated output is 11A from a 12V vehicle and 20A from a 24V vehicle, with a max charging voltage of 15.3V. The potted, sealed electronics resist water, dust and vibration, and it operates from -20°C to 80°C. It also acts as a start battery isolator. Note it is not suitable for lithium (LiFePO4) batteries, and input and output fuses are not supplied.
