20A Ignition Control Under Bonnet DC Battery Charger

The REDARC BCDC1220-IGN is a 12V multi-stage DC to DC charger for vehicles with an ECU-controlled variable voltage alternator. A lower voltage setting lets it keep working from a low alternator input, so your lead acid auxiliary battery still gets a full charge.

It accepts a 9 to 32V input, covering both 12V and 24V vehicles, with rated output of 11A (12V vehicle) or 20A (24V vehicle) and a max charging voltage of 15.3V. Battery-specific profiles allow an auxiliary battery of a different type to your start battery. It doubles as a dual battery isolator, protecting the start battery if voltage gets too low. Potted electronics handle heat, water, dust and vibration from -20°C to 80°C. It is not suitable for lithium (LiFePO4), and fuses are not supplied.
