Product Details
The REDARC BCDC Classic50 (BCDC1250D) is the most powerful charger in REDARC's BCDC range, with 50A of output for big auxiliary battery banks. It is suitable for engine bay installation and charges from the alternator and solar together.
An extra charging stage called SoftStart is engineered for more demanding applications. The built-in MPPT solar regulator handles 9 to 32V, and Green Power Priority™ selects solar first to reduce alternator load. It suits 12V or 24V vehicle systems with standard or variable voltage alternators and charges AGM, Gel, Standard Lead Acid, Calcium and LiFePO4 batteries. Nominal output power is 750W. As a guide, it is used for battery banks over 200Ah; for 75 to 200Ah, REDARC recommends the BCDC1225D. Fuses are not supplied (REDARC FK60 recommended).
