The REDARC BCDC2420 is a 24V, 20A three-stage DC to DC charger for trucks and heavy vehicles. It charges 24V auxiliary batteries for jobs like tailgate lifters and side curtains, and it is suitable for engine bay installation.
It runs from a 9 to 32V vehicle input and uses chemistry-specific algorithms to charge AGM, Gel, Standard Lead Acid and Calcium batteries, with a max charging voltage of 30.6V. The built-in MPPT solar regulator lets 12V solar panels charge your 24V auxiliary batteries, extracting the most available power at any time. Potted, sealed electronics stand up to heat, water, dust and vibration. Input and output fuses are not supplied; REDARC recommends FK60 for input and FK40 for output.
