Product Details
The REDARC BCDC2420-LV is a 24V, 20A low voltage DC to DC charger for vehicles fitted with an ECU-controlled variable voltage alternator. It charges lead acid auxiliary batteries to a proven 100% and is suitable for engine bay installation.
Running from a 9 to 32V vehicle input, its three-stage charging profile suits AGM, Gel, VRLA, Calcium and Standard Lead Acid 24V systems, with a max charging voltage of 30.6V and nominal output power of 600W. Large capacity banks may take a few cycles to fully charge. It is well suited to trucking and heavy vehicle uses like tailgate lifters and side curtains. The MPPT solar regulator lets 12V panels charge your 24V auxiliary batteries, with a solar switch on voltage of 17.5V. Fuses are not supplied (REDARC FK60 input, FK40 output recommended).
