Product Details
The REDARC BCDC Core40 is a 12V, 40A DC to DC charger made for in-cabin, canopy and battery box installs where dust and weatherproofing aren't needed. It is not suitable for engine bay installation.
It combines REDARC's dual input DC charging with an MPPT solar regulator and Green Power Priority™, so it charges from the alternator and solar at the same time while favouring solar to save fuel. Input voltage is 9 to 32V, solar input is 9 to 32V, and nominal output power is 600W. With no fans or relays, it runs quietly. As a guide, it suits lead acid banks over 200Ah and lithium over 100Ah; for smaller batteries REDARC recommends the BCDC Core25. Fuses are not supplied (REDARC FK60 recommended).
