It accepts a wide 9 to 32V input and runs at better than 94% efficiency, with low electrical noise for interference-free radio operation. The fully encapsulated design, sealed in REDARC's silicone elastomer, allows external mounting and marine use. It is ignition controlled, has no fan for quiet operation, and protects against spikes, surges and reverse polarity. Standby current is under 5mA, and it operates from -50°C to 50°C.
