Product Details
The REDARC Low Coolant Alarm (LCA1224) watches your radiator coolant level and warns you before a sudden loss turns into engine damage. It suits 12V or 24V vehicles, as well as remote water pumping systems.
If the coolant drops below the chosen level, for example from a burst radiator hose, the alarm gives a visual and audible warning so you can shut the engine down before it overheats. It reacts faster than a temperature gauge in that situation. AC sensing avoids the electrolysis that causes corrosion, and a built-in anti-slosh delay stops false alarms every time you turn a corner. Operating range is 11 to 32V DC with standby current under 2mA. The alarm also lets you know it is working each time you start the vehicle.
