When you need serious 240V power off-grid, the REDARC 3000W 12V Pure Sine Wave Inverter has the capacity. It runs everything the 2000W model does, plus heaters and kettles, all drawing from a 12V battery.
This Touring inverter runs from a 10.5 to 16.5V DC input with 90% conversion efficiency. To reach maximum output it must be hard wired into the electrical system, using the hard wire plate and the saddle for mounting the loom through the face of the unit. Overload, short circuit and over temperature protection come standard, and the cooling fan is load-controlled. It weighs 8.2kg. The optional REMOTE-RS switch, sold separately, allows control from up to 8 metres away. This inverter cannot be shipped to a PO Box.
