Product Details
The REDARC Roll Over Sensor (ROS) signals the battery isolation switch to cut power to the truck's system if the vehicle rolls. It helps trucks meet the legal roll-over sensing requirement of AS2809:2008.
Built for high reliability, it uses dual accelerometers, automotive grade parts and redundant sensors and controllers, and has undergone thorough environmental and lifetime testing. It is immune to vibration, bump, shock, turning and electrical transients, and triggers at a switching point of 45° to 64° (55° typical). The ROS suits 12V or 24V systems (9V to 32V) and works with most common battery master isolation switches, with enhanced safety when paired with the REDARC BMIS. Periodic testing is simple using pin-removal and a tilt mechanism.
