For smaller batteries in cars, motorcycles, jet skis and boats, the REDARC 4A SmartCharge AC Battery Charger, developed with DEFA, provides simple and safe maintenance charging.
It is best suited to batteries rated from 4 to 120Ah, with an output voltage of 14.4/14.7V. The charger recognises the battery type, works out what charging is needed and shows charge status and level on its display. Rated to IP65, it can be used in damp and outdoor environments, and it is shockproof, sparkproof and protected against reverse polarity. It supports lead acid, AGM, GEL, lead crystal and lithium (LiFePO4) batteries; lithium should not be charged below 0°C. The clamps fasten to the unit when not in use. Weight is 735g.
