The REDARC 10A SmartCharge AC Battery Charger, developed with DEFA, charges and maintains larger 12V batteries in cars, caravans, camper trailers and boats. Connect the clips, plug in and press one button.
Suited to batteries from 20 to 200Ah, the charger automatically adapts to the battery and tailors its charge to suit. It is compatible with lead acid, AGM, GEL, lead crystal and lithium (LiFePO4) batteries. Lithium batteries must not be charged below 0°C. The charging cycle is temperature compensated, and the unit is secured against short circuits and reverse polarity. The display shows battery status, and the cables wind into tracks on the charger for tidy storage. It weighs 745g.
