Product Details
The REDARC SBI12-BLD is the load disconnect solenoid designed to work with a REDARC Manager15 or Manager30 BMS in a 12V negative ground system. It protects your auxiliary battery from excessive discharge by switching loads off when the BMS tells it to.
The black earth wire connects to the BMS load pin. The BMS sets the turn on and turn off points, earthing the wire when loads should be on and removing it when they should be off. The SBI12-BLD also monitors its own voltage thresholds (10.2V on, 10V off) to ensure reliable solenoid engagement. Spike protection components guard the unit and stop solenoid coil spikes reaching vehicle equipment. Use it with a quality fuse kit.
