Pairing a REDARC solar blanket or folding panel with your battery? The REDARC 20 Amp Solar Regulator controls the charge so it reaches the battery safely and efficiently, and it suits both permanent and portable solar setups.
It uses multi-stage charging (boost, absorption and float) to protect the battery from over charging. Input is 12V or 24V, with a maximum rated output current of 20A and a max power rating of 240/480W. Protection covers over temperature, over charge and reverse polarity, across an operating range of -35°C to 55°C. Genuine Anderson™ SB™ 50 plugs connect quickly with no screw terminals. The battery setting defaults to AGM, and the optional REDARC Solar Remote Monitor is required to change to Standard or Calcium settings. Not compatible with Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries.
