Ford Ranger / Everest Brake Controller Kit

This REDARC brake controller kit is matched to the Ford Ranger and Everest. It pairs the Tow-Pro Elite with the TPWKIT-012 wiring kit, the harness Ford's trailer detection system calls for on later models.

From MY19, Ford's Autonomous Emergency Braking brought a sensitive trailer module, which makes the correct harness a requirement. The TPWKIT-012 harness includes a Signal Conditioning Module that safely filters the brake signal from the trailer socket's brake light circuit. For ADR compliance, trailer brake lights must operate when the override is pressed; only the Genuine Accessory Kit or TPWKIT-012 achieve this. The kit is required on PX3 Ranger and Everest (MY18 onwards) and is backward compatible with PX and PX2 Ranger and pre-MY18 Everest.
